ACTUALLY WAIT THIS IS INACCURATE. The first Bowie single came out in 1964, making Diamond Dogs the “classic album” in question. Unless you’re not counting things released as “David Jones,” in which case you’re either correct (if you’re counting albums as the ‘beginning’) or “Station to Station.”
